This week is my first week of term 3 textiles. So far we have learnt button holding and zigzag and  learnt how to over lock for the first time.

ANZAC

Covid - 19

COVID - 19 hasn't been too bad when it was fine we had drinks at the fence every night with the neighbors and every Friday night we have homemade fish and chips at the fence with a little deep fryer. Last Friday night when it was raining we put up a gazebo and tarpaulins so we didn't get we it was fun it was like a lake by the time we come inside. I've been riding my motorbike around the paddocks with dad having races and I've been on lots of bike rides.

Textiles

For Textiles, this term we have been making creatures mine is not the best but I still like it. I learned how to sew around the edges and how to hand sew buttons on it.

                                        On Thursday we went on a bush walk It was fun

Term three goals 

1. Write more every day about things that I like. For example rugby, cricket and motorbikes. 

2. Get better at maths by taking numbers apart and putting them back together again. This means if I have $10 I can use a a $5 + $5 = $10 or $1 10 times. 

3. Reading: Learn to 'get' the bits of the story that I don't understand.

My reading

I have been reading about Albatrosses. I have learnt how they fly and how the albatross eat squid. They can fly really high. The Albatross has a long beak.
